The Windows OEM Preinstallation Kit is a toolkit for PC manufacturers and system builders to preinstall and customize genuine Windows on new devices before delivery to customers. It streamlines factory imaging and setup, enabling you to build and service Windows images, add device drivers and language packs, apply OEM branding, automate Setup and the Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE), and create recovery options or media—while following Microsoft’s OEM licensing and activation requirements.

Key capabilities include:

• Automation of unattended setup and OOBE using answer files
